Pate-Meadows Designs was founded over 10 years ago as a high-end drapery workroom specializing in creative, one-of-a-kind window treatments. The curtain creations of Pate-Meadows Designs have appeared in numerous Southern Living Idea Houses, Southern Living/Lowe's Show Homes and many other designer show houses. In addition, their designs appear frequently in Southern Living Magazine as well as other design publications. The company won a national design competition sponsored by Window Fashions Magazine, and has had other designs featured in that publication.
In 1996, Pate-Meadows teamed up with Southern Living to produce a line of window treatment patterns. This line of Southern Living Window Treatment Patterns features many treatments and valances that have appeared in Southern Living Idea Houses. These curtain patterns allow customers with basic sewing skills to create high-end window treatments. Since then, Pate-Meadows has developed a line of their own curtain patterns called Show Home Patterns. The Show Home Pattern line is now available in over 100 fabric stores across the U.S.
In 2007 Curtains-To-Go was created to offer the homeowner access to high-end, couture ready-to-hang silk panels. These silk drapery panels are custom quality at ready-made availability. All of the Curtains-To-Go contain fine dressmaker details such as covered piping, covered buttons, and custom-designed heading styles. In addition, a superb line of hardware is available to complement the beautiful silk designer panels.
